The Review: #1 L'Oreal Confetti Top Coat

Sorry for being so MIA from blogging recently, I've been caught up in a ton of work for University. My dissertation hand-in is 4 weeks today (EEK..!) so i've been working my little socks off to try and get it finished. Of course a dissertation doesn't get written without a little bit of procrastination/retail therapy so I popped along to Boots and picked up the new L'Oreal Confetti Nail Polish. 

The nail polish itself is a black and white speckle top coat which is very similar to the new Illamasqua's speckle nail polishes. Whenever I see these nail polishes I can't help but thinking of a bag of mini eggs.. the resemblance is quite uncanny! Yum.... The L'Oreal Confetti polish is a fraction of the price of the Illamasqua ones at just £4.99, not too harsh on the old bank balance.

I tried the nail polish out on top of a few of my fave pastel nail polishes at the moment.. 4 of these base coats are Essie ones... yes, someone should probably sign me up to Essie rehab.

Now to decide which colour to go and paint all of my nails... I'm thinking either Mint Candy Apple or Lapis of Luxury. Let me know what you think!
